Sustain Terrain 2017

As the Terrain team finally takes a moment to reflect on 2016, we want to THANK YOU for all you have helped us accomplish in our community by donating, volunteering and/or just showing up to our events.  We saw significant growth in every program in our last year, supporting a total of 413 artists by showcasing their work to over 15,000 potential patrons and putting $86,422 direct;y into their pockets.

Take a moment to reflect on the sheer size of those numbers a moment, and understand this: we couldn't have done any of it without you.

So: thank you.

We're working to make 2017 our biggest year yet, but we're going to need you more than ever. Keep reading for all the stuff we plan to do this year (the list is long!) but first, we need to start by asking for your help.

Our art and creative culture is growing exponentially, and Terrain is growing to ensure the scene has the support it needs. In 2017, we are more than doubling our programming, and we want to make sure Terrain 10 (Ten! can you believe it?) is the best Terrain ever.

All this extra awesomeness is expensive, about $60,000 more than last year. We're writing grants and looking for sponsors, but the reality is this: If just 2% of the people who attended our events agreed to donate $15 per month, we'd hit that goal.

So please, if you love art and you love Terrain, consider pledging $15 a month (or a flat $180) to Sustain Terrain.  Keep in mind any amount large or small would help too.  If you can give more, please, we need it! If you can't make that amount, we appreciate that too!

COLLABORATIONS | The more we collaborate, the stronger our community. We are excited to continue our tradition of partnering with like-minded folks and have numerous collabs in the works including RANGE: a partnership between Terrain, EWU, The Jundt and SFCC, bringing visiting artists to Spokane. Our Performing Arts Space also affords us the opportunity for meaningful partnerships, many of which are already on the calendar.
